Youth (Grades 1-2)

BUILDING THE FUNDAMENTAL BEHAVIORS TO SUCCEED

WHAT IS THE BEST AGE TO BEGIN PLAYING LACROSSE?

Any age is a good age to learn how to play lacrosse. Every year, we have new players join at all age levels. If you have a younger-aged son, 1st or 2nd grade is a great time to introduce them to the sport.

Games at this age are played on a smaller field with smaller (4'x4') nets to allow players to develop the skills to transfer to the next level while enjoying the speed and flow of the game.

At this level, we focus on fundamentals first and work to create the habits successful athletes will need in the future.

We have an inventory of loaner equipment to help you get started without the financial commitment that new gear can bring.
